Setting Guide
If you have purchased loose diamond, the setting for our diamond is thus :- set CZ. Due to its amorphous diamond infusion, our diamond is stronger, harder, and more durable than CZ.So, if you take the same care in setting it as you
would for CZ, you should
experience no problems.
Our diamond simulant is approximately as tough as sapphire, and thus
softer than silicon carbide (moissanite) and diamond. We highly
recommend you pre-polish the prongs before completing the setting, in order
to minimize any potential danger of scratching the stone during polishing.
Our diamond is a patent pending combination of hand cut, high-quality CZ core infused
with an outer layer of extremely pure man-made amorphous diamond (pure carbon
with 90% diamond bonds). Our diamond combines an inner core with an outer layer infusion of extremely pure amorphous diamond.
How to Clean your 'JH Diamond'
1. Soak your' diamond' jewelry in a warm solution of mild liquid detergent and water.Ivory dishwashing liquid is a good choice, but any other mild detergent is fine.
2. Use a soft brush if necessary to remove dirt. Soft is the key -- don't use a brush with bristles that are stiff enough to scratch the ring's metal setting.
3. Swish thejewelry around in the solution, and then rinse it thoroughly in warm water.
Close the drain first, or put the ring in a strainer to keep from losing it!
4. Dry the 'diamond' with a lint-free cloth.
If the 'diamond' and setting needs extra help, use a dental Water Pik to flush away
small bits of grime. You can also use a wooden toothpick to very carefully
push dirt away from the diamond and setting.
